Mount Fitz Roy

Cerro Fitz Roy, at about 3,406 m, is a granite spire in Patagonia on the border of Argentina and Chile, near the village of El Chaltén in Los Glaciares National Park. Its jagged silhouette is one of the best known in the Andes. Popular day hikes lead to Laguna de los Tres for a view of its face, and climbers come for its technical routes.
