Mount Kenya National Park
Mount Kenya National Park surrounds Mount Kenya, an extinct volcano and the second-highest mountain in Africa. Its slopes rise from forest and bamboo through moorland to glaciers and rocky peaks. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and climbers and trekkers use several routes to the summit area.
