Nemrut Caldera

Nemrut Caldera is a large volcanic crater near Lake Van in eastern Turkey, at 2,352 m, with a crater lake and a smaller hot lake inside. Steep walls enclose the basin and there are fumaroles and a forested floor in places. Visitors drive up to the rim, walk around the lakes and camp nearby.
