Nevado del Ruiz
Nevado del Ruiz is a glacier-capped stratovolcano of 5,389 m in the Andes of Colombia, in Los Nevados National Natural Park. It rises above coffee country near the cities of Manizales and Pereira. Hikers and climbers visit the high páramo and the snowline, and the park also contains thermal springs on the lower slopes.
