Niokolo-Koba National Park
Niokolo-Koba National Park is a large protected area in southeastern Senegal, along the Gambia River, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its savanna and gallery forest shelter elephants, lions, chimpanzees and hippos. It is among the more remote parks of West Africa.
