Nur Mountains

The Nur Mountains, also called the Amanus Mountains, run roughly north to south in southern Turkey, between the Mediterranean coast near Iskenderun and the plains of the interior, reaching about 2,262 m. Pine and oak forests cover the slopes, and the range separates the Çukurova plain from the Amik plain. It is used for hiking and nature outings.
