Pico do Areeiro

Pico do Areeiro is the third highest peak on Madeira, at 1,818 m, in the island's central mountains. A road reaches the summit, and a well-known trail leads along exposed ridges and tunnels to Pico Ruivo. The site is popular for walking and for views above the clouds.
