Pinatubo

Pinatubo is an active stratovolcano on the island of Luzon in the Philippines, about 1,486 m high today. Its major eruption in 1991 reshaped the landscape and left a wide crater lake. Visitors reach the crater rim with a 4x4 ride across ash plains followed by a walk through a river canyon.
