Taal Volcano

Taal Volcano is a small active volcano of 129 m on an island in Taal Lake, in Batangas province on Luzon, Philippines. Because the lake itself fills a larger ancient caldera, it is often described as a volcano within a lake. The surrounding ridge at Tagaytay offers views, and visitors cross the lake by boat to the island.
