Pollino National Park

Pollino National Park in southern Italy, across Basilicata and Calabria, is the largest national park in Italy. It has rugged limestone mountains, deep gorges and rare Bosnian pines, ancient trees of the high ridges. Hikers walk the ridge trails, and rafters and canyoners use the Lao River.
