Puncak Jaya

Puncak Jaya, also known as Carstensz Pyramid, is a limestone peak of about 4,884 m in the Sudirman Range of Papua, Indonesia. It is the highest mountain on the island of New Guinea and in Oceania. Climbers approach through tropical jungle or by helicopter, and the rock climb to the summit is the main attraction.
