Kokoda Track
The Kokoda Track is a walking trail through the Owen Stanley Range in Papua New Guinea, linking villages between Kokoda and the area near Port Moresby. It was the site of fighting in the Second World War and has memorials along its length. Trekkers walk through steep rainforest ridges and river valleys, usually with local guides and porters.
