Whitehaven Beach

Whitehaven Beach lies on Whitsunday Island in Queensland, Australia, and is known for its very pale silica sand and clear blue water. Reached by boat, it lies only a few metres above sea level. People swim, walk along the shoreline and visit nearby lookouts over the swirling sand and tidal channels.
