Sigiriya
Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress rising about 349 m above sea level near Dambulla in Sri Lanka. A steep staircase climbs the monolith to the ruins of a palace on top. Visitors also walk the surrounding gardens and take in wide views over the forested plain.
