Skhul Cave

Skhul Cave is a small cave on the slopes of Mount Carmel in northern Israel, and an important archaeological site. Early human remains found here are among the oldest outside Africa. The cave lies in a nature reserve with marked trails, and visitors combine a stop here with a walk in the Carmel hills.
