Zorkul
Zorkul is a high mountain lake in the Pamir Mountains on the border of Afghanistan and Tajikistan, at 4,130 m. It lies in the Wakhan region within a nature reserve, with open, bare mountain slopes around it. The area is very remote and is visited mainly by trekkers and wildlife researchers.
