Andes

The Andes are the longest continental mountain range, running along the western edge of South America through seven countries. They include high plateaus, volcanoes and glaciated peaks, with Aconcagua the tallest. Trekking, mountaineering and long road and trail journeys follow the range, from Patagonia in the south to the tropical north.
