Valle de la Luna

Valle de la Luna, the Moon Valley, is a landscape of eroded salt, sand and rock formations in northern Chile, in the Atacama region. Ridges, dunes and crests give the terrain a lunar look. Visitors walk and cycle among the formations and gather on high points to watch the light change at dusk.
