Aokigahara
Aokigahara is a forest at the northwestern foot of Mount Fuji in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, growing on old lava. Dense trees and uneven ground cover the area, and there are several lava caves nearby. Visitors walk marked nature trails and explore the lava tubes with a guide.
