Bale Mountains National Park
Bale Mountains National Park in southern Ethiopia covers a high plateau, the Sanetti Plateau, as well as juniper and bamboo forest and misty valleys. It is the main refuge of the Ethiopian wolf and the mountain nyala. Visitors trek and ride ponies across the plateau, staying in simple camps.
