Deadvlei
Deadvlei is a white clay pan in the Namib Desert in Namibia, surrounded by high red dunes. Dark, long-dead trees stand on the cracked pale floor, and the contrast makes it a favourite for photographers. Visitors reach it on foot across the dunes, usually around sunrise.
