Garamba National Park
Garamba National Park is in the far northeast of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, on the border with South Sudan. It protects open savanna with elephants, giraffes and buffalo, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is remote and visited mainly through organised, supported trips.
