Mount Stanley

Mount Stanley, at about 5,109 m, is the highest mountain in the Rwenzori Mountains, on the border of Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Its summit, Margherita Peak, carries small glaciers near the equator. The Rwenzori Mountains National Park in Uganda is a UNESCO World Heritage site, with multi-day treks through bamboo forest and moss-draped heath.
