Volcanoes National Park
Volcanoes National Park in northwestern Rwanda lies in the Virunga mountains and protects forested volcanic slopes. It is best known for mountain gorillas, and visitors come on guided gorilla treks. Golden monkey treks and hikes up Karisimbi and Bisoke are also available.
