Gran Sasso d'Italia

Gran Sasso d'Italia is a massif in the Abruzzo region of central Italy, in the Apennines, and its highest point, Corno Grande, reaches about 2,912 m. It lies inside Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, with limestone peaks, high plateaus like Campo Imperatore and mountain huts. Hikers and climbers use the paths and via ferratas across the massif.
