Huka Falls

Huka Falls is a short, powerful drop on the Waikato River near Lake Taupō in the central North Island of New Zealand, where the river is squeezed through a narrow rock channel before falling into a pool. The water is clear blue-green. A walkway and footbridge give views, and a riverside track leads along the Waikato toward the lake.
