Waitomo Caves
Waitomo Caves is a village and cave area in the Waikato region of New Zealand's North Island, known for caves lit by glowworms. Limestone chambers and underground streams lie beneath rolling farmland. Visitors take boat rides through the glowworm grottoes, and others try cave tubing, abseiling and guided walks.
