Lake Tekapo
Lake Tekapo is a glacier-fed lake in the Mackenzie Basin on the South Island of New Zealand, at 713 m, with a pale turquoise colour and the Southern Alps behind it. The small Church of the Good Shepherd stands on its shore. People hike nearby hills, walk the lakeshore and photograph the night sky.
