Lake Victoria

Lake Victoria is the largest lake in Africa by area, lying in east-central Africa and shared by Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. Its surface is at 1,133 m. The shoreline is a mix of papyrus swamps, fishing villages and rocky islands, and visitors take boat trips and watch birds.
