Ripon Falls was a waterfall at the point where the Nile leaves Lake Victoria near Jinja in Uganda, long treated as the source of the White Nile. It was covered by the reservoir of the Owen Falls dam in the 1950s and no longer exists as a fall. A memorial stands near the site, and boat trips and walks run around the river source.
