Markha Valley Trek
The Markha Valley Trek is a popular trekking route in Ladakh, in northern India, passing through the Markha river valley in Hemis National Park. It crosses high passes, villages and Buddhist monasteries on a high-desert landscape. Trekkers stay in homestays or camp along the way.
