Pelion

Pelion is a forested mountain of about 1,543 m on the Magnesia peninsula in Thessaly, Greece, between the Aegean Sea and the Pagasetic Gulf. In myth it was the home of the centaurs. Stone villages, old cobbled mule paths and beaches line its slopes, and a narrow-gauge railway runs through it. Hiking between the villages is very popular.
