Sagarmatha National Park
Sagarmatha National Park in Nepal contains Mount Everest and the surrounding high peaks of the Khumbu region. It is also the homeland of the Sherpa people, with villages, monasteries and trekking lodges along the route. Trekkers walk toward Everest Base Camp and the Gokyo lakes.
