Ama Dablam

Ama Dablam, at about 6,814 m, is a striking peak in the Khumbu region of Nepal, beside the Everest Base Camp trail. Its long ridges and a hanging glacier inspired its name, which means Mother's Necklace. Trekkers see it from villages like Tengboche and Dingboche, and climbers attempt it by its southwest ridge.
