Yakushima
Yakushima is a round, mountainous island in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan, whose peak reaches 1,935 m. Its moss-covered forests contain very old cedars and are protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hikers follow forest trails and old logging railways to the ancient trees and up to the high peaks.
