Hells of Beppu
The Hells of Beppu are a group of striking hot springs in Beppu, on the Japanese island of Kyushu. Each pool is known by its colour or behaviour, from blue and red water to bubbling mud. They are viewed rather than bathed in, and the town offers many public baths nearby.
