Dal Lake

Dal Lake is a lake in the city of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, India, at 1,583 m, surrounded by mountains. It is known for its houseboats and shikara boats, floating gardens and Mughal gardens along the shore. Visitors take shikara rides and walk the lakeside promenade.
