Hveravellir
Hveravellir is a geothermal area in the Icelandic highlands, along the Kjölur route between two glaciers. Hot springs, fumaroles and mineral crusts spread across a lava field. Hikers and travellers on the highland track stop here, and a small natural pool is used for bathing.
