Khan Tengri
Khan Tengri is a marble-capped pyramid of about 7,010 m in the Tian Shan, on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, near the Chinese frontier. Its steep, symmetrical shape and reddish summit at sunset make it distinctive. Expeditions use the Inylchek Glacier valley as the approach, with base camps on the glacier.
