Öræfajökull
Öræfajökull is a glacier-covered stratovolcano of 2,110 m in southeast Iceland, inside Vatnajökull National Park. Its summit, Hvannadalshnúkur, is the highest point in the country. Glaciers descend from its ice-filled caldera toward the coast, and the area around Skaftafell offers hiking trails and guided glacier walks.
