Svartifoss
Svartifoss is a small waterfall in Skaftafell, Vatnajökull National Park, in southeast Iceland, framed by dark hexagonal basalt columns. Its name means black fall. A hiking trail of a few kilometers climbs from the Skaftafell visitor center through birch scrub, and further trails continue to higher viewpoints and a glacier lookout.
