Pamir National Park
Pamir National Park in eastern Tajikistan covers a high plateau and glaciated peaks of the Pamir Mountains, including Ismoil Somoni Peak, formerly known as Communism Peak. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with glaciers, high lakes and remote valleys. Mountaineers and trekkers visit with local operators.
