Abel Tasman National Park

Abel Tasman National Park at the northern tip of New Zealand's South Island is the country's smallest national park, known for golden beaches, clear bays and forested granite hills. The Abel Tasman Coast Track runs along the shore, and kayakers paddle between bays and use water taxis for access.
