Kahurangi National Park

Kahurangi National Park covers a large area of mountains, forest and river valleys in the northwest of New Zealand's South Island. Its high point is around 1,875 m. The Heaphy Track, one of the country's Great Walks, crosses it from highland tops to a wild west coast, and many other tramping routes branch off.
